   The number of accessible devices now available to visually impaired consumers is staggering. With so many solutions to any given accessibility challenge, consumers are well-advised to do their research before making purchases.

 What are the options? Where can I buy them? And most importantly, how much will it cost?  These are just some of the questions you should be asking. Join VISIONS assistive technology professionals for our buyer’s guide workshop and get the answers you need just in time for the upcoming holiday season!  

   John Hess, Rad Mazon, and guest vendors from the local marketplace will describe and demo some of today’s most highly sought-after accessible tech.  Emphasis will be placed on affordability.  Topics will include mobile Phone Accessibility, portable media players, screen magnification,  portable video magnifiers,

personal data management systems, and low-tech accessible gift ideas.
